The Ministry of National Defense issues a press release explaining reports that "the state has sent an advance notice of mobilization call to inform of a critical situation."

In response to comments posted online that "the Ministry of National Defense has sent an advance notice of mobilization call to inform of critical situation", the Ministry of National Defense (MND) clarified today (5th) that to help personnel recruited for wartime mobilization and education recall each year, it will send out an advance notice of mobilization call by mail to call-up personnel from the call-up roster from 2017 in accordance with the Call-up Regulations to ensure full preparation.
The MND emphasized that this operation has been carried out for many years to assist with reserve planning work and other matters before the education recall period. The MND will also disseminate exemptions in line with emergency and other regulations to mitigate living arrangements and matters of other difficulty.
The MND explained that the advance notice of mobilization call was sent on December 26 last year, and published on the website of the Armed Forces Reserve Command of All-out Defense Mobilization Agency for the general public so that they can inquire about the education recall and personnel recruited training flow. If our nationals have any doubts, they are welcome to check with Reserve Command stations in each county and city to ensure they receive accurate information.
